How to donate

Since ZGTF was launched in 2000, many individuals and grant-making bodies have contributed with unstinting
generosity.  It would not have been possible for ZGTF to achieve what it has without their support .

Now in its eleventh year, ZGTF has awarded 67 grants.  To fund them it has had to draw on its capital reserves.
This means that if the present level of awards is to continue, flow of donations is essential.

Will you help by making a donation, or a repeat donation?  You can do this now, by post or on line, or by bank standing order, or by leaving a legacy in favour of ZGTF or by sponsoring an event.  Some people may wish to make a donation to mark a special occasion such as a birthday, a Christening or a wedding anniversary?

To give on line

Justgiving is a company authorised by ZGFT to handle donations.

Justgiving takes your instructions on line, receives your donation and passes it to ZGTF.  It will also gives you the option to donate by Gift Aid and it reclaims the tax from the Inland Revenue on behalf of ZGTF.

Justgiving makes a handling charge of 5% of the donation which it deducts from the reclaimed tax.

Bankers orders

A good way to make regular donations is to set up a standing order at your bank.  Our bank details for this purpose are as follows:

Yorkshire Bank, Lincoln Branch
Sort Code 05 05 63
Account name: The Zibby Garnett Travelling Fellowship
Account number: 43306509

It would help us to know if you set up a standing order.  Will you please advise ZGTF so that it can be recorded?

Legacies

Charitable gifts are free of UK Inheritance Tax.  Are you thinking of remaking your Will?  If so would you remember ZGTF in it?  Any legacy of any size is very welcome.

We suggest that you use the following form of words:

“I give free of all tax to The Zibby Garnett Travelling Fellowship, Registered Charity in England 1081403
the sum of [£                ]   [here write the sum in words] to be applied for the general purposes of the charity and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other duly authorised officer of the charity shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Executors and Trustees who shall not be required to see the application of the legacy”.
