ZGTF’s purpose is to give grants to conservation students to visit countries outside the United Kingdom in order to carry out extra curricula study projects on subjects which they have chosen.
Since ZGTF was set up in 2000, it has awarded over £105,000 to 92 students, making it possible for them to travel to 36 countries, worldwide. To see details click on Scholars.
Grant applications are considered once every year with a deadline of 12 noon on the last working day in February. To learn more about grants, click on Grants.
ZGTF is financed by donations, and receives no government support.
